A once-in-a-lifetime celebration of London through theatre

For the first time eight leading London venues work together...
... creating a series of exceptional shows, each highlighting a major London cultural community...
“When we began four years ago, we sensed that - within the world of London theatre - a spirit of collegiality was in the air. It felt the right time to create a season of theatre that brings us together, and to make shows which we had each dreamed of but couldn’t produce on our own.
The theme that binds us is London: ‘London in the world, the world in London’. Together we’re drawing on many of the great cultural traditions which, taken together, make up the most cosmopolitan city in the world.”

David Lan and Nicola Thorold,
Co-directors, World Stages London

... working with UK and international companies...
... telling stories that draw inspiration from around the globe...
